Gladiators

A journey through history, to the Ancient Roman Empire, to the time of the gladiators. A children's book created in collaboration with MANN - Archaeological Museum of Naples and the Italian School of Comics of Naples. Originally slaves, then professional combatants, gladiators were considered stars, and the games they starred in were much-loved spectacles. Gladiators trained day and night and followed a rigorous diet. They wore special weapons and armor, honed various combat techniques, and had one goal: to amaze their audiences. The book offers a wealth of information about gladiators, their weapons, and the historical context in which they lived. The narrative unfolds on multiple levels, intertwining popular science, fiction, and comics, with activities, stickers, and games. Recommended reading age: 6 years and up.
